Description

We are referring to the Jacobean pilgrimage from Portugal, which presumably already existed in the early Middle Ages. Bridges, rural chapels, sanctuaries, cruceiros, pazos and historic cities are revealed along a route that begins on the banks of the Miño River, in the city of Tui, and concludes before the tomb of St. James. The Portuguese Way in Galicia is a route of notable monumental evidence, with strong cultural realities that go beyond the architectural and museum aspects, signifying a privileged space for horseback riding with friends. If the pilgrim wishes, the Portuguese Way from the city of Braga is also available.

SERVICES INCLUDED

Transfers from the airport (Santiago de Compostela or Vigo), train or bus station to the starting point.

Lodging reservations: we will stay in the best hotels, rural houses, pazos... available along the route and nearby, according to our experience and knowledge. A list will be sent to you.

Full board: breakfasts, lunches and dinners, being able to choose between a variety of first and second courses in places where they make good food and of our confidence. Note: Alcoholic beverages and snacks are not included.

Horses, equipment, saddle bags and waterproof clothing if necessary.

Guide on horseback

Staff to look after the horses and move the luggage between accommodations every day
